Remember when Mariah Carey did 'Someday' and 'Honey'? Yeah this isn't like those.
Mrs. Cannon, in her unending musical wisdom, has decided that this year's Winter Olympics doesn't have enough hand flailing and breathy over-emoting, and - always the giver - has gone ahead and filled that gaping void. '100%' is her contribution to the Team America soundtrack that NBC has been pimping every ad break for the last week, but we can't be too negative about it as the proceeds go to fund young athletes.
'100%' is out now but just turn your local NBC affiliate at any given time. You'll hear it.

A not unattractive man sings a not terrible song - watch Alex Gardner's 'I'm Not Mad' now!
Alex Gardner is the new boy-wonder Xenomania project, and he is both easy on the eyes and talented. He has a new video out but because record companies are crap they have blocked the video from the US. So here is a live version.
"Very good."

A Friday Flashback - Madison Avenue for no reason whatsoever
ScopiSat reader Dionne wants more 90's music. To be honest, if there's one thing the 20-teens could use it's a little more 90's music, so we're more than happy to oblige. So here's Madison Avenue.
Maybe if we get bored we'll start one of those '1,000,000 strong to get Madison Avenue to quit their job manning the tills at Tesco and return to music relevance' Facebook groups.
But probably not.

Justin Timberlake is back in a big way in the new Timbaland collaboration video 'Carry Out' - watch now
Oh Justin, how we missed you. We can't even remember the last actual clip he put out (that wasn't him dancing to 'Single Ladies' or featured him in a dodgy mustache) and we kind of forgot how good he is.
Apparently Timbaland is in this video too but no one really cares.

Cascada get off on 'Pyromania' - watch the video now!
Cascada, the euro-dance power group, went all Gaga/RedOne with its current album, and actually found some surprising success with single 'Evacuate The Dancefloor.' It became a worldwide smash, topping the UK charts, and inexplicably (blame the gays) gave the German group a number 25 hit in the US. Looking to keep that momentum going, the group has chucked out sound-alike 'Pyromania,' which isn't nearly as 'shout it from the rooftops' anthem-y as 'Evacuate,' and for that reason seems unlikely to match that song's dizzy heights. Still, it's not completely unpleasant.
As for the video, it has special effects, men in big bubbly space helmets, and a woman with absolutely horrifying two-tone hair. So par for the course for Cascada.
Out in the UK in April, and in the US over the summer (maybe)

Watch Sue Sylvester don a Madonna cone bra in the preview for upcoming all-Madge 'Glee!'
How excited are we about the impending return of 'Glee?' The answer is very. Add Madonna into the mix and we're absolutely foaming at the mouth. Here's a little preview, courtesy of Entertainment Tonight:
***warning to British viewers, the clip contains spoilers from the first series
"Exciting."

Lady Gaga, last night's big Brits winner, performs a stripped down 'Telephone' and a euro-crazy 'Dance in the Dark' - watch now!!
Last night's Brit Awards were very kind to Lady Gaga. She won three gongs, performed two songs, and brought her tea up on stage with her while she teared up, overwhelmed by Brit love. Also she wore something insane.
But it's her performances that everyone is talking about today. Her emotional version of 'Telephone,' repurposed as a tribute to Alexander McQueen, really stole the night, as did her crazy/brilliant/completely bizarre presentation of 'Dance in the Dark.'
The Brits are goo goo for Gaga.
