And then, just when all seems safe, on the note that we will all remember her for, she pulls a Taylor Swift and everything goes to hell.

EDIT: In preparation for this post, we spent a good ten minutes trying to find a photo of Carrie Underwood looking awful. It is IMPOSSIBLE. It does not exist.

To her defense, she sang live, unlike divas before her, who pre-recorded their vocals. Big props for doing it up. And one note does not make a Taylor. The outfit, on the other hand...zoinks!
Agreed. And there were some crazy sound problems during the whole beginning of the broadcast. Queen Latifa had some audio issues too. But still...did she really have to hold it out THAT long?
